Animals in Haiti
Thursday, January 21st, 2010Just a reminder that the animals need our help too! Aid is pouring in for the people of Haiti which is fabulous…but we must remember all the animals that have been injured and lost at this time. And those that will be left to fend for themselves (likely injured and dying) while the focus is on humans. There are many animal organizations collecting for relief. My favorite is www.WSPA.ca They are on the ground in Haiti (and throughout the world). Other organizations such as www.IFAW.com and www.NoahsWish.org are also excellent…if you can’t choose, send to all of them! They’ll be sure to work together.
I have been doing my part by donating a portion of all sales (not net profit or gross profit as others do…as there is no profit yet!) over the next few months in support of relief efforts.
Be generous…give with your heart…today and everyday of your life!
