I just received word from Beth that the sale of my yarns at Stitches Midwest went great! And she’s already placed an order for more yarn for Stitches South!!! And what better time…when I have so much on my plate that I can barely breathe…the Universe puts on another helping
I was up until midnight canning some more tomatoes - I really wish they would all ripen at once - I know some people like to spread it out but I prefer to do a full day of canning (or days) and then clean up…rather than trying to do a modest clean up each time…oh well…the toms prefer to ripen as they like
And I am dehydrating some purple plums as well - they are much nicer than canned. The plums taste like candy when dried …I never would have believed it till I tried them a couple of years ago. I keep them in the freezer since I don’t make them hard like leather - just dehydrate for about 15 hours - until almost all of the water is out.
And this morning the photographer is coming to pick up the first installment of yarns to photograph…and of course I have nothing ready yet….it may be better to just give her 30 skeins or so to start…if she sees how many skeins need photos she may run away!
got to go …the handman is here…finally!
cheers
